Setting (between the line)

Why does the whole book take place in a ranch?

I think that the book Of Mice and Men take place in a ranch is for a couple of reasons. One, that so they can show you Lennie’s child side, second to show you how opened minded they were and third, to make you see the beauty behind them. It showed you Lennie’s child side by making him play with puppies and all. Also to show how opened mind George and Lennie are by them wanting to go buy a farm. Last but not least to make you see the beauty they have in them self’s by being nice and caring at times. But the setting of this book did take place on a ranch but it showed you all of these things.
